∘ Medea Melashvili ∘ Nunu Kistauri ∘ Ketevan Kveladze ∘ MODERN TRENDS IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT Summary Software is an essential component of the IT sector. The term "software" was spread in the 60s of the 20th century, and today it is a huge industry. It is believed that the first computational program was created in the 30s by Lady Ada Laqluisas for Charles Bebege's car. Since then, information technologies have quickly invaded human life and are continuously taking the leading positions there. Today, the software market is one of the world's top-rated according to its scale and growth rates. Its subjects are software manufacturers, users and non-licensed so-called manufacturers of "pirated" versions. Hence, the logical conclusion that can be considered to allow some amount of piracy by the manufacturer firms as the optimal decision. Consequently, the main task for these firms is to determine the optimal size of this "certain" amount. |
